Tim was born in Pasadena and moved to Big Bear as an infant. At 14 Tim moved to Xiamen, China, where he earned his Mandarin Language Proficiency Degree level 9. He taught English for 10 years while mastering the language. Tim enjoys baseball, travel, and mulching his yard.
